Can you create your own miracles? Ponder on this question for a moment.
Whilst, it’s impossible to guarantee a miracle happening in your life, there are actions that make miracles much more likely and increase the odds of a major breakthrough in your life.
Your own abilities can help bring miracles into your life. Be open to every possibility that comes your way. Miracles can happen every day. Let today be your day for a miracle!
Here are my 7 steps to making your own miracles.
1. Forget about “how” your miracle will happen.
You decide the What. Let the universe decide the How. Be open to any process that allows your miracle to occur. If you’re in need of money, avoid limiting yourself to finding a bag of money on the street or winning the lottery. Avoid planning and analysing how your miracle will occur. Just allow it to happen.
2. Rid yourself of disbelief.
Whether you believe in miracles or you don’t – You’re Right! Disbelief will keep miracles away. When you believe something is possible, you become more capable, inspired and motivated. What action would you take if you were certain you couldn’t fail?
If you can visualise success without getting an uncomfortable feeling in your stomach, then you’re in a much stronger position to be on the receiving end of a miracle.
Each morning and evening, imagine your desired miracle occurring. Relax and stay with the image until you feel comfortable. Imagine that you’re someone else that is just watching the scene. Slowly put yourself fully into the scene while remaining comfortable and relaxed. Notice what you see, hear and feel as vividly as you can. This gets easier with practice.
3. Be clear regarding your intentions.
Do you know exactly what you want to happen? It’s not enough to hope for a financial windfall. Give your miracle a timeline and be as specific as possible.
Vagueness might result in your miracle occurring, but who wants a $10 windfall? That’s exactly what you might get if you fail to specify an exact amount.
Regardless of the type of miracle you seek, be as specific as possible! If you don’t want to limit yourself with a specific intention, you can always put “or better” or “or more” at the end of your intention, like “…$50,000 or better this year, get this particular promotion or better, or lose 5 kilo’s or more this month.”
4. Be patient.
Your miracle probably won’t occur today or tomorrow, but it might. You want to maintain hope and be confident that your miracle is on it’s way. Great things take time. Be patient and enjoy the journey and growing in the process.
5. Relax and pay attention.
The perfect opportunity or person is unlikely to jump right in front of you, although it could. Instead, you will be presented with opportunities and some of these might be quite subtle.
Keep your eyes open for any signs or opportunities. Accept that party invitation or finally decide to join that meditation class you’ve been considering for the last six months.
The ingredients that you need to make your miracle happen are all around you. However, are you paying enough attention to spot them?
6. Take responsibility.
Are you doing everything you can? Miracles are more likely to happen when you’re taking action. For example, you have a better chance of landing a dream job if you’re applying for jobs each day. Avoid relying only on luck for your miracle to happen.
7. Expect the best.
It’s not enough to believe that something wonderful might happen. It’s necessary to expect it to happen. Start each day with the expectation that today is going to be the day. Keep your head up and know in your own heart that something great will happen soon enough.
Remember that you’ve already achieved many amazing things in your life. Be clear regarding your expectations and confident that your miracle will happen. Keep your mind open while you live your life expectantly. Miracles happen every day, and they can happen to you.
